Bio
I am a Systems Engineer with 23 years of experience in mission-critical engineering for defense & space, including satellites, radars, comms, avionics, and embedded systems. I am an author of books on systems engineering, space, and tech management, and I study the engineering practice with the objective of making our craft better by avoiding the traps that make it slow and costly. In my role as a consultant, I help customers create, improve, acquire, back, and audit mission-critical technology, applying a sociotechnical approach.
